Norbert Finger | Based on work done by the Americas' Hub Captain, Bryan Opalka, and after discussion at our Board Meeting, the Noble Air Board has agreed to standardize the PIREP. Landing Rate Rejection Criteria - Any landing that exceeds a rate of -1250 fpm will be rejected as this is (at best) a borderline crash. - If the aircraft bounces upon landing, and multiple touchdowns occur, if ANY touchdown exceeds a -1250 fpm rate the PIREP will be rejected. - Any landing with a ZERO landing distance, for fixed wing aircraft only. - Any landing that has a positive rate will be rejected, as you cannot land at a positive rate. In Flight Refueling - If the aircraft is refueled in flight (airborne) the PIREP will be rejected. Rejected due to 3 ft landing distance and 0 fpm landing VS.
